We operate under a quality ISO 9001&ISO 17025 and an environmental management system ISO 14001, this is maintained through registration and annual review.

We comply with all the statutory and regulatory requirements and aim to continually improve out quality and environmental management processes.

Proficiency Testing

CLS laboratory staff participate in an extensive range of external proficiency schemes in the Microbiology laboratory. This is an integral part of the quality control system at CLS. Analytical performance in the external schemes is assessed on a ongoing basis ensuring the quality of the test results leaving the laboratory. Schemes currently being delivered at CLS include HPA U.K., Dept. Of Agriculture, SPDL Cryptosporidium Scheme, Aquacheck, EPA.
